The house
Made for the heat
Tidal began in Dubai with a simple problem: the classic loafer was never designed for forty degrees at nine in the evening.

One last
Every silhouette is cut on a last developed in-house, not bought in. The women's last was drawn from scratch rather than graded down.
Unlined
Removing the lining removes heat. It also means the suede takes the shape of your foot within a week.
Small runs
Colourways are made in limited quantities so the atelier can keep the finishing by hand.
The house works in two materials: an unlined suede that breathes, and a soft nappa that takes a shine without stiffening. Both are cut, closed and finished in small batches, with the vamp stitched by hand.
Nothing is released until it has been worn through a Dubai summer by someone in the atelier. If it does not survive that, it does not go into the collection.
